Cheadle Running Club
Cheadle Running Club - The Club was formed in 1986 at South Moorlands Leisure Centre, Allen Street, Cheadle. We meet on Sundays at 9.00am and Wednesdays at 6.30pm. We cater for runners of all abilities and all ages. The club is noted for its friendly atmosphere. The club stages: The Cheadle Spring 5 Road Race in March (formerly the Cheadle Spring 6 and held since 1990); The Cheadle 4 Road Race in July (the club took over this event, which has been held since 1977, in 1993); An invitation Veterans Cross Country at Oakamoor in August (held since 1991); The North Staffordshire Cross Country League fixture at Parkhall Country Park (jointly staged with Longton Harriers 1998-2003). Members compete in local road races, the North Staffs Cross Country League and also fell races.

Denby Dale Travellers AC - Denby Dale Travellers AC was established in the early 1980s. It all started with a group of friends meeting for a run around the village and then chatting about their exploits over a swift half or two. Word of these exploits gradually spread and after a while the running club was born. For the past two years the Travellers have been based at The Pie Hall in the centre of the village. Whilst we don?t have any changing or showering facilities, the Pie Hall serves just about the best pint of beer in Denby Dale! Easingwold Running Club - We are a small friendly club in rural North Yorkshire. We meet on Thursdays at 7.00 p.m. at the Galtres Centre, Easingwold, to the north of York. Eden Runners
Eden Runners - Running club for Penrith and Eden valley. We do the lot - road, fell, orienteering, track, triathlon, mountain, adventure, XC. There's something for everyone, whatever your standard. And we're very sociable. In the winter we meet on Wednesdays at Penrith Rugby Club. In the summer on a Wednesday you will usually find us out on the fells and then in a local pub. Gateshead Harriers
Gateshead Harriers - Gateshead Harriers were founded in 1904 as Gateshead St. Mary's Church Running Club. Originally for men only, ladies joined in 1951. The club moved to its present site in 1956. Today we cater for all athletes, from 8yrs+ to veterans in all disciplines through winter and summer. We train at least two evenings a week and compete in road races, cross-country, track + field and marathons. New members are always welcome and you can train at any level of fitness, from sedate jogs to competition level. Our excellent facilities include comprehensive weights room, male and female changing rooms with showers and a large hall which is also available for training purposes twice a week during the winter months. Training is at Gateshead International Stadium on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm till 8:00pm (unless otherwise arranged with your coach).

Goole Viking Striders - The club was formed in 1984 when a window cleaner, a wine seller and leisure centre assistant got together and decided to start a running club after supporting the Goole Lions 3 Rivers Challenge Walk. We are a club that caters for all abilities and experience and prides itself on its friendliness and we have a strong programme of well supported social events. We have a membership of 50 at present. Each year on the 2nd Sunday in June we hold our annual Riverbank Challenge, a 1/3rd marathon along the banks of the River Ouse (details on race calendar). We meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm, at the Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Westfield Banks Goole. The complex has Showers and changing rooms (male and female), a Bar!! and a visiting Physiotherapist. Halesowen A&CC - Halesowen A & CC is a well established club based on the edge of the Clent Hills Country Park, a National Trust area of outstanding beauty. The club stands in its own grounds in the shadows of Halesowen's historic Manor Abbey, hence the 'Manor Abbey Sports Ground'. We cater for athletes of all standards, from beginners to elite, and offer a wide range of facilities, from track to cross country (we are blessed with miles of country paths). The main training days are Wednesday nights (7pm) and Sunday mornings (10am) and where you can run with a group according to your ability. There are other training nights from Monday through to Thursday, such as the Monday night track session, and we have a number of coaches at hand.

Lichfield Running Club
Lichfield Running Club - Everyone is welcome at Lichfield Running Club, we have members of all ages and abilities. We usually meet at on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Several members also meet on a Saturday morning for a cross country training run through Hopwas Wood. The club are currently in Division 4 of the Birmingham and District Cross Country League. You can even come along and give it a try for two weeks without any payment to see if the club is for you. Remember that running is the quickest way to lose weight, get fit and lose those calories, or maybe just to be the best runner you can be, so just come along and give it a try.

Northbrook AC
Northbrook AC - Northbrook AC is a club based in Coventry where enjoyment is just as important as achievement. The club is now celebrating 25 years in existence. The club was founded in 1978 as Northbrook Striders and initially had only a dozen members. Today we have about 90 members across abilities and ages, male and female. As of 2001 the club has had the support and sponsor of ?Brose?. As a club we try to cater for all levels of runners. There is a range of abilities from the sub-five minute milers to the ten-minute milers. Club members participate for different reasons and you will find competitive runners and social runners within the club.

Preston Harriers Fell Section

Steel City Striders
Steel City Striders - Steel City Striders are the organisers of the Percy Pud 10km Race, South Yorkshire's most popular 10km race. Formed in 1982, the club welcomes runners of all standards from beginners to established runners. Although primarily a road running club with a strong presence in local road races, its members are also active in cross country and fell races. The club has 200 members. The club holds weekly training sessions and organises a full programme of club events each year including a 10km Championship Race, a Cross Country Championship Race, a Road Race Championship, two off road Long Distance Relay Races and the Long Distance Strider competition. These are often combined with a social event.

White City Hull RRC - Our club was formed in 1985. We meet at the Hull and East Riding Sports Club, Chanterlands Avenue, Hull on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6.30pm. Runners of all abilities are welcome. We have shower facilities, a bar and you can also order a meal if you wish. We are not a club that keeps looking at our stopwatches to see how fast we have run and we do not have a strict plan of how far you should run on a particular night. We believe that running should be enjoyable. If you want to come down to the club and run a mile then someone will run that mile with you. No one runs alone.

Hal Higdon - the schedules-based site of 70 year old coach Hal Higdon. Described by Runner's World as "authoritative, beginner-friendly and its breadth is truly impressive.
