Almost entirely on footpaths, bridleways, fields and tracks so wear appropriate footwear. Ample parking and toilet facilities. Please arrive changed and ready". Full Gala fun day with all attractions etc. Note from the organisers: "New course for 2008. Due to the closure of footpaths by the National Grid gas pipeline until September 2008 a new course has been devised for this year only. It is a two lap variation on the established course starting and finishing in the gala field as usual. None of the route touches tarmac and it is entirely on bridle tracks. Still 10K with 405 feet of ascent it is guaranteed to satisfy aficionados of the rugged. All entry form details are still accurate."
